Wild Feelings explores the amazing lives of two Australian birds, the New Holland Honeyeater and the globe trotting Bar-tailed Godwit and it's 12,000 kilometre migration.

Wild Feelings combines the curriculum areas of Science and Health through the character and characteristics of these two Australian birds. is an award winning children's play that combines vivid characters, laugh out loud comedy and eye catching physical theatre.

Health After diving deeply into the difficult emotions of the jealous New Holland Honeyeater we surface with a greater understanding and multiple ways to process and resolve uncomfortable feelings.

Science We journey across the world with the Bar-Tailed Godwit and learn about her adventures and environmental challenges. ‘Wild Feelings’ examines the life cycles of the New Holland Honeyeater and the Bar-Tailed Godwit, their interaction with other creatures including predators, the threats to their habitats, and the impacts that humans have on these creatures.

Co Theatre Physical mixes story, vivid characters, physical theatre and comedy.

Wild Feelings is a winner of the 2023 'Plays for the Young' competition at Playmarket NZ.
