Imagine what it would be like to be a Kookaburra.

Meet Chelsea, she is a Kookaburra. Her home is a hole in a gum tree that she shares with her parents and siblings. She has a lot to learn and the most important thing for her to learn is how to fly.

Benny is her best friend. He is a Koala and goodness gracious he sleeps a lot!

As the seasons pass, young Chelsea sees people coming into her woodland and they do not always take their rubbish with them when they go. Chelsea must learn that rubbish and litter are no good to eat and that they do not belong in the family’s nest.

Bird’s Eye View compliments the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) by exploring the inter-relationship between us and all the other creatures and plants with which we share the planet. Children see how doing the right thing can help them, the kookaburras and koalas and all the other creatures around them.

Throughout Chelsea’s story there is music and dancing to get everyone involved, heaps of fun, laughs and wonderfully visual circus tricks.
