Resilience and Tolerance can often help solve problems.

Riley is convinced that he is not resilient. That he is never going to be resilient because it’s too hard to learn. Everything is too hard for Riley to do so he is going to run away and grow pineapples - his favourite fruit. So! Dad and Mum go about showing how we can all learn to do things, firstly with the help of others, then by our self. At first Riley is having none of their help and fights them every step of the way. It is an uphill battle but little by little they show Riley how our confidence grows stronger as we learn to do more and more things and that with confidence, comes resilience.

Resilient Me is a combination of strategies to deal with various in-school and out-of-school situations as well as memory exercises and games designed to help learn new and even difficult information.

These easy to learn, fun to use, life skill tools are all cleverly woven into this well-paced, entertaining fifty minutes of colourfully visual theatre.

With heaps of action and comical situation comedy, combined with a dash of poetry, stories, illusions and loads of laughs, students see how Resilience and Tolerance can often help solve problems.
